We are delighted to share the fantastic news of a highly successful day at the Brass Bands Northern Ireland Spring Festival in Omagh, celebrating a series of achievements that reflect our dedication, teamwork, and commitment to the brass band movement in Northern Ireland.
Our performances on the day were recognised with an outstanding 1st place alongside the award for Best Trombone Section. Adding to this success, we were proud to bring home the 3rd Section ‘Band of the Year’ title — a wonderful acknowledgment of the hard work, progress, and perseverance shown by every member of the band throughout the year.
These achievements are a testament to the continued effort and passion within the band, both in rehearsal and performance, and highlight our ongoing commitment to excellence within the local brass band scene.
We would like to extend our congratulations to Dynamic Brass and Wellington Memorial Silver Band for their superb performances, which contributed to a memorable and high-quality contest.
A special word of thanks goes to our fantastic conductor, Bob, whose dedication, patience, and musical leadership have brought us from strength to strength. His commitment to our learning and development continues to inspire and motivate the band at every stage.
With this incredible start to the year, we look forward with excitement to what lies ahead.
